The iPhone XR comes in more colours than the Pixel 3.

This update should become available at around the same time as the retail launch of the Pixel 3 on October 18th.

Other outstanding add-ons include free unlimited online storage, which means you wouldn't have to cough up a bill for iCloud that only gets larger by the month. So both phones have somewhat jarring front-facing designs.

Hi, folks - Isaac here from the Pixel Camera engineering team. That makes the Pixel 3 XL to have the sharpest display among the four.

This highly useful and advanced feature is unique to Google's Android ecosystem.

Hamilton fastest as Mercedes dominate Japanese GP practice
It was a supreme day in the auto for Hamilton, who led team-mate Valtteri Bottas by four tenths in both sessions. Hamilton said: "Suzuka has to be one of my favourite circuits, if not the favourite one - it's very cool".

The Pixel 3 features a 5.5-inch screen display with 2160x 1080 pixel resolutions. That said, Google packed in some impressive new features and capabilities to make them nearly Pixel ideal.

Why it matters: When the Pixel buds launched a year ago, they came with two new features: Google Assistant baked right in, and an exclusive translation feature that uses Google Translate to have a conversation in real-time. These phones aren't getting thicker, so Apple and Google and Samsung just need to keep pushing into clever, processor-intensive, machine-learning enriched ways to make our photos better.

Hype for Google smartphones is at an all-time high and the release of their next generation of phones is just what Google fanboys were waiting for. These could be the three colour options of the Pixel 3 models. We will have to wait and see if other camera features also come to the older Pixel handsets. For now.it sounds like Google hasn't exactly lapped Apple, but it also hasn't given up its lead - and it's thrown in some nifty new features.

Going by the product specs, the Gamevice Pixel 3 XL device pulls power from the phone rather than relying on an internal battery. It's quicker and more reliable than Face ID, and having the sensor on the back of the phone is convenient and easy to use. Google has sold an estimated 7 million Pixels over the past two years, nearly imperceptible next to the 3.6 billion phones shipped during that time, according to the research firm International Data Corp.
