Why Arsenal u-turned deal with Ramsey

Arsenal won its fifth straight Premier League game on Saturday, beating Watford 2-0 with two late goals at the Emirates Stadium.

It had looked likely the north London club would eventually agree a new deal with the Wales global with a four-year extension in the pipeline. "He has waited for his moment".

Their seventh successive win came courtesy of Craig Cathcart's 81st-minute own goal and a strike soon afterwards from Mesut Ozil, and after Isaac Success had squandered a fine chance to give the visitors the lead.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is likely to leave the club next summer after the Gunners withdrew the offer of a new deal.

Ramsey has made two assists in five games in the Premier League so far to make a decent start to life under Spanish head coach Unai Emery.

Talking about her decision to quit the industry, Tanushree says, "It's been 10 years since I left the industry. Agar nahi deti, toh film nahi milegi (If you don't put out, you won't get the film)", Tanushree said.

"The big strikers are very good and very strong so we had many problems but our defence did a good job".

Explaining his own exit earlier this month, Gazidis - who was instrumental in the appointment of Emery - said: "I know many will think this is a odd time to be leaving but I believe it is the right time for me and for the club".

"We stood up to the battle and though we were exhausted late on we got those two goals".

Emery handed him the number ten role, but Ramsey was hauled off on 63 minutes for Alex Iwobi after an uninspiring display. We need more control, we need to continue to improve with the control, with the possession, with the positioning.

However, the new management structure at Arsenal means Emery has little say when it comes to contract negotiations. Let us know in the comment box below.
