Mac Miller, rapper and producer, dies at 26

In a report by TMZ, the rapper was found Friday around noon at his home in the San Fernando Valley and was pronounced dead at the scene.

United States rapper Mac Miller has died, reportedly due to an overdose.

The 25-year-old performing ten songs from her recent album Sweetener, as well as an a cappella rendition of 'One More Time'. Shortly after his vehicle accident and arrest that same month, Grande tweeted "pls take care of yourself".

Miller had been open about his struggles with substance abuse, which he addressed candidly in the short documentary "Stopped Making Excuses". "There are no further details available as to the cause of his death". Variety has reached out to Miller's camp for more information. After they split in May, he wrecked his auto and was later arrested for DUI and hit-and-run.

Mac was due to be embarking on a tour of the United States next month, following the release of his latest album, Swimming. "I want to be able to have good days and bad day.I can't imagine not waking up sometimes and being like, 'I don't feel like doing s-t.' And then having days where you wake up and you feel on top of the world". "I'm treading water", he warns on that track, amid troubling nods to feeling "my fingers slippin'/In a motherfuckin' instant, I'll be gone" on the song Small Worlds.

The MC last toured Australia in 2017 for Listen Out Festival in support of his album, The Divine Feminine, back when he was famously dating Ariana Grande. "I wish it started tomorrow", he wrote. But beyond helping me launch my career he was one of the sweetest guys I ever knew.

And his last performance in the United Kingdom saw him duet with ex Ariana Grande at the One Love Manchester concert, last year. "Im completely broken. God bless him", said Chance the Rapper on Twitter.
