Everton enter the running to sign Bakayoko

Chelsea are extremely busy as the transfer window comes to a close, with many arrivals and departures expected.

It remains to be seen how quickly AC Milan will seal the deal.

Tiemoue Bakayoko has represented France at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 27 caps, before making his senior worldwide debut in March 2017.

Bakayoko looks set to leave Chelsea this summer, with the player not believed to be part of Maurizio Sarri's plans.

Last season, the 23-year-old player joined the Stamford Bridge club from Monaco, and he played 25 Premier League games in his first season with the Blues. Bakayoko made 43 appearances across all competitions for Chelsea last term.

Boy's Remains Found At Raided New Mexico Compound
Sheriff Hogrefe said they worked with other agencies and believed that the missing could still be on the compound. Investigators said none of the adults would give statements to the current whereabouts of the little boy.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan are only "a few details" away from bringing in Bakayoko, with Chelsea securing his replacement in the form of Kovacic from Real Madrid.

The presence of Danny Drinkwater on the bench instead suggested that Sarri is likely to use the Englishman more than he would make use of Bakayoko in the coming season.

With N'Golo Kante still to return, Sarri's first-choice midfield is shaping to include Jorginho and Fabregas alongside the diminutive Frenchman.

With Milan leading the race for Bakayoko, Everton's interest appears to be dependent on whether or not they land Zouma.

As the news emerged, Chelsea fans on Twitter erupted with joy.
