Indonesia issues tsunami warning after 7.0 quake strikes off Lombok island

However after a 7.0 magnitude quake hit parts of Indonesia on Sunday, anxious fans urged the couple to return home to the U.S. after a Tsunami warning was issued by authorities. The centre said there was no tsunami threat to Australia.

The quake also triggered a tsunami warning for the area that since has been canceled, said Dwikorita Karnawati, head of Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency.

The quake struck off the north coast of Lombok island.

The TV star spilled: "I very calmly walked outside saying clutching baby saying 'I'm naked".

The quake was felt some 100km away on the bustling resort island of Bali, and there were early reports of damage including to Ngurah Rai International Airport.

The resort island was struck by 6.4-magnitude natural disaster last week that killed 16 and left hundreds of hikers stranded on a volcano.

Like Bali, Lombok is known for pristine beaches and mountains.

Indonesia is an archipelago of thousands of islands, which sit on the Pacific Ring of Fire, a seismic activity hotspot.
