Lovato, 25, has been open in the past about her struggles with drugs and alcohol, and she celebrated six years of sobriety this past March. She is now being treated for issues that are very common after a drug overdose. "Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now".
With the help from her family and visits from her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, she is recuperating from the overdose.
