Conte leads first Chelsea training amid rumours on future

Chelsea could well find themselves stuck with unwanted manager Antonio Conte for the forthcoming 2018/19 season as a result of the ongoing contractual difficulties of replacing him.

Conte leaves with the best win percentage 65.1% of any of Chelsea's managers in the Premier League era.

"Although I consider [Jorginho] a great player, for Ancelotti's style of play and in view of the [lack of] credibility from the Chinese for [Marek] Hamsik, we've chose to accept the request which first came from Manchester City, and I have to apologise to them".

Conte, 48, also has a clause in his contract that guarantees him a pay-off, thought to be £9m, for the final year of his deal.

Here are the three big names from Italy that could join Sarri in the capital.

"For that, I'll have to apologise to Manchester City".

For better or worse Brazil star Neymar grabbed a lot of headlines at this World Cup . He is on the right road, but he still needs time.

He was in charge of the Italian national team before taking over at the Bridge in 2016. However, if the player would rather live in London than Manchester, I can understand that. This is bad news for Manchester City, who had supposedly arranged a deal for Jorginho, have been left with little other than an apology from De Laurentiis.

"I loved working and learning from him".

Sarri isn't the only one who boarded a plane in Naples bound for London by the sounds of it, as Jorginho is believed to have made the same trip.

Conte is reported to have parted ways with Chelsea, with former Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri expected to be handed the reins at the club. Finally, he is on his way out with another Italian coming in to fill the void in the form of Sarri who impressed while in charge of Napoli last season.

He can operate in a variety of different midfield roles thanks to his work-rate, and accuracy of passing but is generally seen as a creator. CSKA Moscow midfielder, Aleksandr Golovin looks very likely to become the club's first the addition of the summer.
