‘All systems go’ for Trump-Kim summit, Singapore diplomat says

"I think we can presume that North Korea made more demands to Singapore than the United States did in terms of security".

A worker of a media center for the summit between the U.S and North Korea shows fans featuring the images of U.S. President Donald Trump (L) and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, which provided for journalists in a media kit at the media center in Singapore, June 10, 2018.

Beyond the speculation over motivation, however, Trump and Kim Jong-un may face huge obstacles to settling a deal on their own; some even question whether a treaty, if they managed to pull it off, could lead to disaster, not peace. The president said at a press briefing in Quebec that his relationships with the other highly industrialized nations in the G-7 are all very strong despite disagreements over recent USA tariffs. "Well, I think very quickly I'll know whether something good is going to happen". "The regime is employing a wait-and-see approach to the issue, which makes sense from their point of view".

"I feel that Kim Jong Un wants to do something great for his people", Trump said at a press conference on Saturday in Charlevoix, Canada, where he attended a summit of leaders from the Group of Seven nations. You know, the way they say you know if you're going to like somebody in the first five seconds, you ever hear that one?

"I will be on a mission of peace and will carry in my heart the hearts of millions of people, all over the world".

During a promotional event dubbed the "real" Trump-Kim summit, the men waved at shoppers as they walked through the crowded Bugis Junction mall. Its Supreme Leaders have all ruled by creating what Human Rights Watch calls "fearful obedience". "Both the American as well as the North Koreans are pleased with the arrangements, we're all set to go and things will start happening within the next 24 hours". Entrepreneurs have been scrambling to cash in on the global media spectacle, hawking Trump-Kim fusion burgers and summit-themed cocktails. At the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in South Korea earlier this year, police dragged him out of an arena after he danced in front of North Korea's cheering squad.

Man United agree to sign Brazil midfielder Fred
United are also closing in on Porto's 19-year-old defender Diogo Dalot and should complete the deal this week. The 25-year-old left Internacional in his homeland of Brazil for the Ukrainian club in 2013.

"We might see a similar scale of security personnel from North Korea and safety protocols as we did in April, but they'll also have help from Singapore like special vehicles and agents", said Cho Seong-ryoul, senior research fellow at the Institute for National Security Strategy. Trump said the talks would establish dialogue between the two nations, with an ultimate goal of North Korea's denuclearization. However, the United States president noted that G8 format was more meaningful than G7, adding that he would be positive if Russian Federation returns in the bloc.

Trump administration officials need to consider carefully exactly what the president could offer Kim in Singapore.

The US president predicted that he will know "within the first minute" if the Singapore summit, which has been under threat of cancellation, is a success.

After Trump withdrew the U.S. from the Iran deal, his last bout of nuclear negotiations, the news website Axios reported that Trump was pleased by the largely negative reaction by prominent academics.

Then, Trump followed up with another Trudeau-targeted tweet, calling him "meek and mild" during the summit in Montreal and also "very dishonest and weak".
