Dalot, the Porto right-back, has only eight senior appearances to his name, but United scouts are said to have been impressed by the teenager having watched him throughout the season. He completed all of the 0-0 draw at Liverpool in the Champions League last-16 second leg in March as Porto were knocked out 5-0 on aggregate.

The Portugese defender is seen as an understudy to veteran defender Antonio Valencia, with the 32-year-old struggling with knee injuries over the past few seasons.

United are yet to trigger his £17.5 million... His move out of Porto was imminent as Dalot had just a year remaining on his contract. Today, Man Utd are set to sign Diogo Dalot...

Pompeo 'very hopeful' North Korea talks will still take place
Libya's longtime autocratic leader Moammar Gadhafi was killed several years later after a Western-backed military intervention. North Korea has insisted it won't give up its nuclear weapons program without major concessions from the U.S.

Dalot has represented Portugal at Under-21 level and made his first-team debut for his club in February this year.

However, the Portuguese is now closing on a move to Manchester United and according to Portuguese daily O Jogo, his representatives have communicated his decision to Porto. Interest in Diogo Dalot has been present for a while now, with FC Porto rejecting multiple bids below the player's €20 million release clause. United are also in the market for another full-back, a left-back, to strengthen in that area also. He makes sense as a good fit for United, as Matteo Darmian will likely be moving on this summer, and Luke Shaw's future is up in the air. His primary position is right back, but he can play left back if needed as well.
