To keep the price in check, these iPhones are likely to lose the 3D Touch technology as well.

Which iPhone model are you looking forward to buy this year? The iPhone X had a bright, edge-to-edge display and 3D facial recognition, but the $999 (U.S.) starting price was too much for some consumers.

REUTERS/Hamad I MohammedA customer tests the features of the newly launched iPhone X at VIVA telecommunication store in Manama, Bahrain, November 3, 2017. That would be the new iPhone X and iPhone X Plus. Still, he warned that the days of 15-per-cent annual iPhone growth are over. Since the cheaper iPhone, this year is not equipped with Samsung's OLED display, the chances are that the device looks more like an Android notch smartphone than the iPhone X. That made it hard to price the product much below $999, without slicing Apple's legendary profitability. Meanwhile, a senior industry executive said that Apple's income from the profits will be used for further expansion of local operations.

Trump says Cohen represented him in "Stormy Daniels deal"
Michael Avenatti , weighed in a few minutes later on MSNBC and said that Trump had made a "hugely damaging admission". Previously, Trump denied any relationship with Daniels and told reporters he wasn't aware that Cohen paid Daniels.

The other two iPhone models the company is expected to release this year include a 5.8-inch OLED display successor to iPhone X and 6.5-inch OLED device that is thought of as "iPhone X Plus". Smartphone sales are down across the board, and it seems that the growth elevator that Apple's iPhone division has been on ever since 2007 has come to an end. This only gets worse for Apple during the third quarter, with average sale prices plummeting down to $691, indicating very few iPhone X units will be sold by comparison.

Apple recently sent employees a letter warning against leaking information-a memo that was ironically leaked to the media.

Following corporation tax cuts unveiled by President Donald Trump in February, Apple announced that it would transfer $250 billion of cash stored overseas to the US. According to everything we've seen so far, iPhone X sales will turn out to be decidedly meh, and the real success story of the year is the iPhone 8 and iPhone 7. Do you want to see it on future iPhones?
