The top-seeded Houston Rockets will look to find their offensive rhythm and head home with a 3-1 lead when they visit the eighth-seeded Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday as solid road favorites for Game 4 of their Western Conference first-round National Basketball Association playoff series. This was Houston's first loss to Minnesota in the 2017-18 regular season and playoffs.
"We've got to do a better job of imposing our will at the beginning of the game", said James Harden, who led the Rockets with 29 points. Derrick Rose pitched in with 17 points on 8-of-16 shooting off the bench.
Through the first two games of the playoffs, however, the Timberwolves have found that it's much more hard to avoid turnovers against an opposing defense that has chose to clamp down. The Rockets' three point shooting has been even worse as they are hitting a paltry 31.5 percent from beyond the arc: they hit 69.6 percent at the charity stripe.
The Timberwolves were desperately waiting for Karl-Anthony Towns to show up in this series and he arrived in game 3.

Police commissioner Olafur Helgi Kjartansson told The Associated Press in March it was 'a grand theft on a scale unseen before'. The escaped prisoner was being held at the Sogn prison in rural southern Iceland, 95 kilometres from the airport.
In Game 1, the Rockets were able to pull off a 104-101 win behind James Harden's 44 points and 8 assists.
Indeed, the Wolves finished second in the league in turnovers per game, only committing 12.5 miscues per contest.
Houston is 33-3 when they hold opponents under 100 points, while Minnesota is 19-4.
The Minnesota Timberwolves are back in this series. He hopes the team can get back to playing the way they did in the majority of the regular season here to head home up 3-1 in the series. The Rockets need more production from Clint Capela who scored just seven points and Gordon who shot just five of 16 from the field, but the overall problem was the lack of pace in the offense as they played passively and allowed the Timberwolves to dictate the tempo.
Minnesota is 4-1 ATS with 3 unders and 2 overs over their last five games.
