The asteroid called 2013 US3 included in the list of potential threats to Earth, the maximum closer to the Blue planet on April 29.

The asteroid "2018 GE3", which was slightly larger than the one that exploded over Tunguska in Siberia in 1908, flattening 2,000 square kilometers of forest, passed at a distance of 192,300 kilometers, nearly half the distance of the Moon from Earth, according to the US Space Agency (NASA).

According to NASA, it posted on its website that it is nothing as compared to asteroids which are present in between the Mars and Jupiter, whose length can spread across 580 miles. "2018 GE3 was found less than a day before its closest approach". "Hours later, amateur astronomer Michael Jäger of Weißenkirchen Austria video-recorded the space rock gliding through the southern constellation Serpens", Spaceweather.com reported. According to a report, an asteroid may be broken into pieces while entering the earth atmosphere but this size asteroids won't do so.

The asteroid that flew by Earth Sunday was up to six times the size of the meteor that exploded over Russia's Ural Mountains in Chelyabinsk back in February 2013.

Mary's, the parish school of Immaculate Conception, now has about 75 students in kindergarten through 5th grade. According to WCCO, children under the age of 10 can not be criminally charged.

Earthsky.org reported: "An Apollo type earth-crossing asteroid, was flying through space at 66,174 miles per hour". And that particular asteroid was estimated to have produced about 185 times more energy than the Hiroshima atomic bomb, the report said.

An asteroid estimated to be at least 150 feet in diameter made an alarmingly close pass to Earth on Sunday morning just hours after it was first observed by astronomers.

That's significantly smaller than the 2018 GE3 asteroid.

SURPRISE ASTEROID FLYBY: With little warning, a relatively large asteroid flew through the Earth-Moon system on April... Nevertheless, a few of an asteroid this size may have gotten across Earth's surface area, and an asteroid this huge can triggering some local damage, depending upon different elements such as structure, speed, entry angle, and area of effect.
