- The Lee County Sheriff's Office has released surveillance video showing a murder suspect talking to a woman at a bar in Fort Myers who would later become a murder victim.
Marceno said Riess befriended 59-year-old Pamela Hutchinson and targeted her due to their similar appearance.
The Blooming Prairie woman is being sought for the March murder of her husband David Riess, and the murder of Pamela Hutchinson of Bradenton, Florida, earlier this month.
"She smiles and looks like anyone's mother or grandmother", Lee County Undersheriff Carmine Marceno told NBC News.
Police say Riess is considered armed and extremely unsafe, despite her age and appearance.
The Dodge County Attorney's Office is preparing second-degree murder charges against Reiss for the killing of her husband and "we anticipate those charges to be filed within the next few days", Dodge County Sheriff Scott Rose said in a statement. They stayed in touch with her via Facebook, where she posted photos of her relaxing stay.
