Trump hits Manchin over tax bill vote at West Virginia event

In his opening remarks at the event in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, the president briefly touched on taxes and the opioid epidemic, which has ravaged that state.

In closing, Trump thanked Governor Jim Justice and Senator Shelley Moore Capito before directly acknowledging that Congressman Evan Jenkins and state Attorney General Patrick Morrisey - who were flanking the president at the table - are both vying for the Republican nomination to unseat Manchin in November.

"Anywhere from 2,000 to 4,000", Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One, adding that "we'll probably keep them or a large portion of them" in place until an anti-migration wall is built on the border.

The room was full of excitement as everyone came together to talk about how the newest tax cuts and job act made an impact on their lives. "The people of West Virginia badly want to know: What will the 200,000 West Virginians do when they lose health care coverage?"

Elizabeth Lilly told Trump that their tax savings had now averaged out to some $3,500 and that it has enabled the family to travel across the state in support of their daughter who has joined an archery team. "You're going to have a chance to get a senator that's going to vote [for] our program".

Apple wants to make sure iPad users know how to work with two apps at once, and also how an Apple Pencil can mark up screenshots. Apple is expected to release a 6.5-inch iPhone with an OLED screen and a new, lower-cost LCD model.

While Trump went off script, the attendees -an assemblage of state politicians, local business owners, workers and families - stayed dutifully on task, talking about how the tax cuts have helped them.

He repeated his unfounded and unsubstantiated claim that "millions and millions of people" voted illegally in 2016.

That's according to Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.
