HMD Global has launched Nokia 7 Plus in India at its today's launch event in the country.

HMD Global has finally launched the Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, and the Nokia 6 (2018) in India, nearly a month after they were officially unveiled during MWC 2018.

- One of the biggest highlights about the three new Nokia phones is that all of them are part of the Android One initiative, which means they will ship with pure Android software without any bloat along with a guarantee of timely security updates for at least two years.

The reason the Nokia 7 Plus is a special phone and one that will sway the odds in HMD Global's favour is because it is one of the best devices in the Rs 20-30k price band.

Nokia 8 Sirocco, which Nokia claims as an ultra-compact powerhouse and their most handsome smartphone to date, comes with enhanced Dual-Sight, ZEISS optics and Nokia spatial audio.

Nokia 7 Plus comes with a 6-inch Full HD+ panel having an aspect ratio of 18:9.

The phone curved edge-to-edge pOLED 2K 5.5-inch display and is 2mm thin at the edge.

In terms of optics, Nokia 8 Sirocco bears a dual rear camera setup with a dual-tone LED flash and Zeiss optics. The company has secured the phone's front display with 3D Gorilla Glass.

Nokia 6 (2018) is the upgraded version of Nokia 6 which was launched past year. It has an entirely new design with a curved glass finish and a precision crafted stainless steel frame. The new Nokia 6 is crafted out of 6000 series aluminium into a unibody design.

As for camera optics, the dual camera setup comes with a 12 MP camera sensor with f/1.75 aperture and a 13 MP telephoto camera sensor with a f/2.6 aperture for 2x optical zoom. It also supports Qi wireless charging, and IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.

Nokia 9 will feature a huge ZEISS 41MP primary wide-angle camera with Xenon+ LED flash, which was previously seen on the Nokia 808 PureView. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage.

Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6 (2018) smartphones come with Airtel's "Mera Pehla Smartphone" offer which gives cashback of Rs 2,000. The dual SIM device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo featuring 4 GB of RAM and powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC.

The specs sheet confirm in-glass fingerprint sensor for Nokia 9, Snapdragon 845 as well as triple rear cameras with a 41MP primary sensor. The sensors are vertically stacked at the back the phone, right above the fingerprint sensor.
