Eagles OC Frank Reich named new Colts coach

Reich was interviewed Friday and New Orleans Saints assistant head coach/tight ends coach Dan Campbell had talks with the Colts on Thursday. The team announced it was "surprised and disappointed" when McDaniels told the Colts he was staying with the Patriots "after agreeing to contract terms" with Indianapolis.

"As the role of offensive coordinator, that's what you do: you coordinate", Reich said.

According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Reich and the Colts have reached an agreement on a five-year deal. Since retiring as a coach he has spent time on the staff of the Colts, Cardinals and Chargers in addition to working the last two years for the Eagles.

Kylie Jenner's 'more mature' since becoming a mom
Between the name reveal and the image of Stormi's tiny hand, Twitter and Instagram have found enough material to work with. Hailey Baldwin thinks Kylie Jenner has handled her pregnancy in a really "mature" way.

Reich started his coaching career with the Colts, first serving as an intern in 2006 and 2007, then becoming the team's offensive assistant from 2008-2011. "Frank has all the ingredients of a successful head coach: intelligence, innovation, character, organizational and leadership skills, and a commanding presence". Lest we forget, it was only two years ago that many of us were debating whether Reich's old boss and the newest Super Bowl-winning head coach, Doug Pederson, was ready. It was also reported by ESPN that the Eagles have been bracing for the departure of Reich. He's going to do everything right to get himself ready to play, and I'm very confident, he's very confident, that he's going to come back and prove a lot of people wrong.

Losing Reich would create a void at offensive coordinator for the Eagles. The Colts also found someone who actually wanted their job.

Reich took someone in Foles who had 10 touchdown passes and 10 interceptions in 2015 and 2016 for the St. Louis Rams and Kansas City Chiefs and turned him into a Super Bowl MVP after what appeared to be a devastating injury blow to the MVP-candidate starter.
