Nokia 6 2018 Revealed, Featuring Major Upgrades

Nokia 6 (2018) features the fingerprint scanner on the rear side of the phone beneath the camera. HMD is also using its bold colour accent scheme around the power button and the volume rocker, so all in all, the Nokia 6 2018 looks a lot sharper than the original Nokia 6.

Both phones have a 5.5-inch 1080 x 1920 screen, a 3,000mAh battery, a 16MP rear camera, an 8MP front-facing one, 32GB or 64GB of storage, a microSD card slot and now run Android Nougat.

On the design side of things, the button and fingerprint reader arrangement is new. There's also an expandable microSD card slot.

The most immediately noticeable aspect of the Nokia 6 (2018) is the relocation of its fingerprint sensor to the back.

Android 7.1.1 Nougat runs the Nokia 6 (2018). The Nokia 6 this year is practically a reboot and what last year's buyers should have been given in the first place.

Nokia 6 has the 5.5-inch IPS screen, and the screen resolution of it is 1080×1920 pixels.

Elsewhere, the Nokia 6 2018 comes with USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing unlike the original that came with a standard Micro USB 2.0 port. The smartphone supports fast charging with a battery of 3000mAh.

This smartphone gives its support the Dual-Sight technology.

We've been anticipating the reveal of the Nokia 6 2018 for quite some time, and the second generation of Nokia's popular phone has just been revealed, featuring some pretty major upgrades when compared to its predecessor. However, Nokia 6 (2018) now supports "Bothie" mode that lets users capture and record from the front and rear camera simultaneously.

The Nokia 6 (2018) starts at ¥1,499 (~$230) for the 32GB model, and it is on sale in China only for now.

The Nokia 3310 4G feature phone has received fresh leaks as the device has been spotted on TENAA after being certified in China. There's a longer metal frame surrounding the rear camera lens and LED flash unit below it. Fingerprint sensor sits right below the LED flash. The smartphone will be available to the customers in India sometime soon.
