Danish retailer may have leaked Red Dead Redemption 2 release date

However most of the time, these are placeholder dates that don't reflect the actual launch date of the game.

Despite the controversy surrounding microtransactions this year, Rockstar is still unmoved on the state of Shark Cards as they see it fitting for GTA 5 Online.

According to Coolshop, a Danish retail site, Red Dead Redemption 2 will be launching on June 8, 2018 even though this could be a mistake for the retail website the date coincides with that of the last piece of information Rockstar gave its fans regarding the date.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is targeting a spring 2018 release date on PS4 and Xbox One. If this is to mean anything, the game will have an online mode where the Cards will be in effect.

As of right now, Rockstar has the western set for a Spring release window. While Rockstar and Take Two have yet to announce or confirm the release date, we can likely expect some news from them soon as we head into 2018.

Buzbee claims his date was drunk and he called an Uber to pick her up, but Layman refused to leave the estate. Buzbee also recently made headlines for parking a World War II tank in his River Oaks neighborhood.

The first trailer for the game was released all the way back in October 2016, at the time promising a release in "Fall 2017".

A lot of the leaked release date's validity hinges on if this retailer really has an inside track, or if it just got lucky with Grand Theft Auto 5. And with complete radio silence ever since the release of the second trailer being enforced, things are looking a lot like the prelude to the previous delay.

We'll keep you posted as the story develops.

Rockstar is yet to confirm the release date officially, though. June 8th lines up with that as Spring ends on June 21st, 2018.
