Pakistan has announced it would issue photos and a video of the meeting and also allow the family to interact with media, if India agrees.

Following this, India moved the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in May.

After the meet, Jadhav's mother Avanti Jadhav thanked Pakistan's foreign office for arranging the meeting with her son.

However, New Delhi has been maintaining that Jadhav, a retired Navy officer, was kidnapped from Iran where he had some business interest.

The ICJ suspended the execution, pending final judgment by the court.
