Klopp says Liverpool must keep defensive recovery going at Arsenal

At the start of the season we had four players with one year to go [Oxlade-Chamberlain, Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Jack Wilshere].

"Liverpool are very good going forward, so you see a very good overall defensive performance", he told reporters on Thursday.

Arsenal won't be able to call on their super sub Olivier Giroud on Friday night after he suffered a hamstring injury in midweek, and Aaron Ramsey is out with the same issue.

He believes the Gunners are a complete side, but feels more often than not Arsenal resort to long ball tactics when they take on Liverpool.

Arsenal's error-ridden defence have already conceded 20 goals in just 18 Premier League games, but surprisingly the Liverpool defenders have also let in the same amount, and their coach Jurgen Klopp has warned them that they need to be on their best behaviour against the Gunners tonight as we have created even more chances than even Man City this season. It's Arsenal and they have quite a talented group there! "We need to be spot-on in this specific part of the game".

The Reds were desperate to sign Virgil Van Dijk last summer, but after the Saints reported them to the FA for illegally tapping up the Dutchman, they back off in a hurry.

Some communities repopulate as Thomas Fire evacuation orders are downgraded
The devastating fire, which broke out Dec.4, threatens homes northwest of Los Angeles in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. Some communities in Santa Barbara are now repopulating as evacuation orders and warnings are being downgraded.

Klopp will be looking to rotate his squad over the next fortnight, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in line to face his former club later this week. He's like a wonderful package, I can only say.

"We're defending really well at the moment, we've been solid", Mignolet added.

"For example, Alberto Moreno did fantastic this season, and then we played at Sevilla and he did not well".

And he said: "Everything we are doing has influence on our plans". Wenger said at a pre-match news conference. "(He's sometimes a) little bit too much of a midfielder instead of a striker - there are a lot of things he can improve, but I'm really happy about the status quo". The boys needed to be more aware of different situations.

"I think "wow". Thankfully we make the decisions and nobody else". It could have been better, but it could have been much worse.

"And when you can put things right: do it".
