Scarborough Rants About Trump Being 'Mentally Unstable,' Calls Out Mattis

Later, Trump tweeted about other NBC News figures, including Phil Griffin, the president of MSNBC, and "Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough.

Trump initiated this round of exchanges Wednesday morning when he responded to the news that NBC had fired Matt Lauer over sexual misconduct accusations. Rex Tillerson, when is this the right time to talk about a mentally unstable president in the White House and a nuclear showdown with another unstable mad man in North Korea?

The White House Deputy Press Secretary shot down questions about Donald Trump’s Twitter feud with Morning Joe host Mika Brzezinski.

"When are we supposed to say this?" he continued.

Scarborough's brother, George Scarborough, who was a Trump supporter, took to Twitter to demand an apology from the president.

Mr Trump took aim at Mr Scarborough earlier this week, appearing to call for a probe into the death of a staff member who was found in the former politician's office in 2001. The coroner said the head injury caused the death, but she wasn't struck by another person.

"Today the president crossed another deeply disturbing line", Brzezinski said in a statement obtained by New York Magazine.

This allegation against Lack seemed to center around the idea that he had put out "fake news", but Trump's later tweet about Scarborough implied something much more sinister.

The day before the co-hosts embarked on their latest speculation about Trump's mental health, the president targeted Scarborough in a tweet.

"Joe and I are not intimidated and his weird behavior contravenes both the Constitution and basic moral judgment", she added.

The St. Petersburg Times reported: "Medical Examiner Dr. Michael Berkland has said Klausutis, 28, of Niceville, lost consciousness because of an abnormal heart rhythm and fell, hitting her head on a desk".

Another Times report published over the weekend said Trump had suggested the 2005 "Access Hollywood" tape in which he boasted about groping women isn't real - though Trump publicly acknowledged its authenticity during the presidential campaign.
