Hudson filed the restraining order after she claimed on November 15 that Otunga pushed her while she was holding their child, 8-year-old David Jr. The contract gives the former WWE wrestler custody over the 8 year old for the majority of the time as Hudson is now residing in London while working as a judge on the United Kingdom version of "The Voice", and regularly travels back and forth to Los Angeles for the USA version.
Hudson has also reportedly dropped the protective order she had been granted against Otunga earlier this month. Jennifer has worked on both The Voice UK and The Voice US this year.
Hudson is now splitting her time flying behind-and-forth between London, where she serves as a coach on The Voice UK, and Los Angeles, where she's participating in The Voice's thirteenth season alongside fellow coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Miley Cyrus.
The couple previously shared a home in the Chicago area, but Otunga will not be moving back into the residence, according to the gossip site. Today, Jennifer requested and received a protective order against her ex-fiancé.
According to TMZ, Jennifer will continue making decisions based on what's best for her son.
