Aston Martin Vantage GTE Unveiled For The World Endurance Championship

This comes connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission by ZF, with an electronic differential that's capable of being open or 100 per cent locked. The 2019 Vantage comes in at 3,373 pounds, but it still has the flawless 50:50 front-to-rear weight distribution.

ASTON MARTIN has launched a new Vantage, replacing one of the longest-serving sports cars on the road following 12-years of distinguished duty. The Vantage features a high level of standard equipment, including keyless start/stop, tyre pressure monitoring system, parking distance display, park assist and front and rear parking sensors. That's what James Bond drives; that's the one that everyone points to as one of the most lovely cars in the world, and that's the one that's easy to keep track of, with generations named DB1, DB2, DB4 and so on to DB11.

He added: "The new Vantage is the greatest auto I've been involved in during my 38 years in the automotive industry".

If Aston Martin were looking to cause a bit of commotion then they've certainly done that with the unveiling of their next generation Vantage sports vehicle.

Kenya's Supreme Court ruling sparks violent protests
Odinga had called for a "National Resistance Movement" after Kenyatta's victory last month. Dozens of people have been killed in sporadic clashes since the August vote.

This is it. The spanking new Aston Martin Vantage. The vehicle gets a distinctive design language that flaunts its bold sculpted profile and the subtle character lines that enhance the overall look of the auto. In its place is a more dynamic and compact multi-tier center stack topped by a screen, center vents, HVAC controls and then a new triangular horizontal surface that arranges the PRND switches in a triangular fashion.

Oh, and keep in mind that this is the first time when an Aston Martin is gifted with an electronically-controlled rear differential that features torque vectoring, so the drifting bits should be covered. To ensure sufficient separation between the models, Aston is taking a bolder approach for each design. Add this to the new side gills and the upswept rear deck lid, and the Vantage supposedly generates significant downforce. If you're not paying attention, a walk through the paddock could result in a banged-up shin for you and a very expensive fix for the vehicle. Aston Martin says the zero to 60 miles per hour sprint takes 3.6 seconds on the way to a 195 miles per hour top speed.

"We've collaborated closely with Aston Martin's Gaydon headquarters to develop the road and race cars in parallel". Three driving modes can adjust the systems' settings: Sport, Sport Plus and Track. Like the DB, the Vantage sports a push-button transmission, and there's a very Mercedes-like central controller for the infotainment system.

Inside, Aston Martin offers a range of finely crafted appointments, such as premium Alcantara and leather upholstery, high-quality materials, and of course plenty of exclusive options buyers can go through.
